In this film, we learn about the “skill versus will” matrix first proposed by coach and author Max Landsberg. The axes of this matrix are similar to the Startup Accelerator Team Delivery Canvas, but it is used to evaluate how a manager should manage an individual team member instead of to analyse expected team performance. In particular, it can help a manager to decide whether to coach, delegate, direct or excite a particular team member about a task.
