This short clip contains some basic information on the difference between registered and unregistered design rights, the Intellectual Property Office and the possibilities of protecting your designs.
Note: this video describes UK Design Right law, which is also applicable in the Switzerland, but with one significant difference. In Switzerland, Design Rights must be registered with the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IGE); you cannot claim Design Rights over an article unless you register them.
