STARTUP CAMPUS is expanding its membership in 2017, which now includes ETH Zurich, Impact Hub Zurich, Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), and Social Entrepreneurship Impact & Finance (seif). Together with 11 other leading universities and incubators, they support professional training programs for existing and prospective startup founders.
The startup promotion initiative welcomes four new members to the consortium. Since its foundation in 2013, STARTUP CAMPUS has helped more than 1,700 young entrepreneurs and prospective founders in professional training programs on their way to their own startup or spin-off companies. In addition to coaching and acceleration, STARTUP CAMPUS mainly concentrates on the implementation of CTI Entrepreneurship training funded by the Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI).
A Broadly Supported Initiative
Behind the success of STARTUP CAMPUS is a consortium of incubators, technoparks, universities, universities of applied sciences, and businesses providing startup-relevant content as well as qualified experts, trainers, mentors, and locations for entrepreneurship training. With ETH Zurich, one of the world’s leading technical universities, STARTUP CAMPUS is gaining additional valuable support within its consortium. Impact Hub Zurich, a hotspot of innovative ideas and the workplace of numerous start-ups, also actively participates in the promotion of young entrepreneurs, enabling its members to network with existing startups. With ZHdK, the largest Swiss art and design college, and with seif, an organization for startup entrepreneurs in the area of social entrepreneurship, STARTUP CAMPUS is extending its network and range of offerings further. In addition to events to raise awareness and provide broad startup support for consortium members, this includes three tailor-made CTI Entrepreneurship courses designed to support founders at every stage of company development.
